On September 26, 2014 the AFPMBAI together with the participation of the Bureau of Fire Protection and other government organization in Davao City will be conducting a tree planting activity at Barangay Magsaysay, Marilog District, Davao City as part of the Treevolution 2014 campaign for Mindanao to reduce the impact of climate change.
The Mindanawons
are eying for a Guinness record on tree planting with an attempt
to plant 4,636,000 trees in a total area of 9,200 hectares. This event implied the government's National Greening Program.
In response to this call in saving nature, the selected personnel of the BFP - Calinan Fire Station will be attending the said event in their most eager and positive way.
